Jabir ibn hayyan, considered the father of alchemy, was famed for his efforts to develop the science of chemistry, and for his inventions. Jãbir honors this incredible figure with a rich, lushly floral parfum extrait of a sophistication and refinement befitting this historic figure. Opening with crisp pink pepper and bright freesia and violet notes, the fragrance soon develops a complex floral heart, with rose, muguet and peony capturing both full-bodied elegance and bright-eyed freshness all at once. Rich veins of oud and patchouli run through the multi-faceted drydown, but the fragrance never veers to the unpleasant or heavy, as creamy vanilla and aromatic, earthy vetiver stay simultaneously smooth and lively. Bright, gorgeous and masterfully blended, Jãbir is a fragrance without peer, for a man much the same.
